13 Reasons Why Season 3: Ranking Every Character From Worst To Best
11. Charlie Saint
Another new addition to the show, Charlie was, in a way, a plot device himself, as he was simply there to prove that not all jocks are mindless bad guys who seek to inflict suffering on other students at Liberty - even if his friends did.
He may not have featured all that much, but his very reason for existing gave him a solid goal - and that made him interesting. Furthermore, thanks to Tyler Barnhardt's well-played offering, it was hard to know which side Charlie would end up choosing - especially since he was such good friends with Monty.
However, the fact that he reached out to Tyler after hearing about what happened to him, and helped the gang protect Alex from the sheriff, proved that the character was every bit as gentle and kind as he appeared to be. And in a show full of troubled teens and two-faced antagonists, that was undoubtedly a welcome change.
