The other problem that reared its head at the end of Season 3 and threatened to upend everyone's happiness was the reemergence of Tyler Down's guns. Y'know, the same guns that Tony and Clay disposed of at the end of Season 2 - after which they spent a full season looking after Tyler and eventually became his friends in the process.

Though Tyler struggled along the way, he reached a point in his life that he could at least begin to describe himself as being happy - a point he would never have reached without all of his friends being there for him.

Though the discovery of his guns did create a problem for Tyler, because the sheriff's department was able to trace them back to him, they never knew what he almost did that night. He then agreed to help them take guns off the streets and, in return, they would drop the charges - which they did.

Now, Tyler is in a happy relationship with Estela de la Cruz and, like most of his friends, is preparing to heading off to college to start afresh outside of Liberty High.
