9. 24: Legacy

Granted, expectations were low from the outset when a Jack Bauer-less 24 revival was announced, but even with the talented Corey Hawkins leading the charge, 24: Legacy was a 12-episode rehash of the series' most prominent storylines, character arcs, melodramatic subplots and action sequences.

From the generically directed set-pieces to the abundance of comically overwrought soap opera nonsense, it all felt depressingly old-hat, to the point that even an arbitrary victory lap for Tony Almeida couldn't liven things up much.

Unsurprisingly, the show was cancelled, though never one to let a dead dog lie, Fox is already exploring options for yet another 24 spin-off, presumably Bauer-free also, which again no fans are actually asking for.
