14 Problems Only It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia Fans Will Understand

13. Charlie's Stupidity Is Often Hard To Defend

Example episode: The Gang Exploits A Miracle Mac finds a water stain in the shape of the Virgin Mary, and so Frank decides it's time to exploit some people and make some money. Charlie takes it upon himself to start blessing strangers visiting Paddy's, despite having no knowledge of religion whatsoever and proving so as he goes on his little escapade. It looks like it's fair to say that Charlie is the most stupid of the gang. While the rest of them are intentionally venomous towards others, Charlie's stupidity is sourced from his own uneducated self. He can't read. He can barely write. He's practically illiterate. He doesn't know where Israel is. He likes pretending to be a lawyer. And he loves getting in on things he has no clue about. While he's loveable to a degree, he's also completely ridiculous, and there are only so many times you can stand up for him to people who disagree with you.

I love Stephen King and music festivals; I eat my toast upside down; I daydream about getting married probably a bit too much; and I wish every day for a pet sausage dog puppy (who never materialises – sob).
