After being accidentally launched into space, Bender finds himself home to a tiny civilisation which sees him as a god. Left to float through space alone, the typically cynical and casually cruel robot attempts to keep the people safe, with poor results.
Godfellas represents a creative peak in Futurama, tackling themes such as faith, religion and hope with sharp social commentary and charm.
It's also incredibly funny, as Bender succeeds in only making things worse for the civilisation and ends up meeting the real God in the deepest corner of the universe, and surprisingly touching, as Fry tries desperately to find his friend and Bender grows a conscience.
