One of the very best episodes of season two, Fury finds Scott, Stiles and Derek at their most vulnerable. After learning that Matt is the one who has been controlling Jackson throughout the season, Scott and Stiles teamed up with Sheriff Stilinski to figure out exactly how he links to the Kanima.

At the police station, the pair are blindsided by Matt and Jackson, Stilinski is trapped, and Derek turns up only to be paralysed. Though Matt's twisted backstory is a great twist to the season, the best aspect of the episode comes in the form of Scott's mother, Melissa, who finds out Scott is a werewolf when he's forced to save her from Jackson.

Fury is pure tension followed by pure action, bringing about the death of Matt whilst setting up a new threat, and throwing Melissa into the world of the supernatural without warning. The definition of a game-changer, it changed the dynamic of the show forever.
