5. Chuck's Decision - Better Call Saul

Lantern may not be the best episode of Better Call Saul Season 3 - that would be Chicanery - but it's the one where all the threads from not only this latest run, but also the entire show, come to a horrifying head.

After pushing Jimmy away one more time, Chuck's EHS symptoms re-emerged, sending him into a frenzy of tearing apart his house and all its wiring. It drives him to the point where he knocks over the gas lantern, burning down the house with him still inside.

Chuck effectively serves as the villain of the piece, but there's no satisfaction to be found in his demise. From the breakdown of his relationship with Jimmy to his mental state - all beautifully captured by Michael McKean - all that's there is a feeling of deepest tragedy.
