Appeared in: Helpless (Season 3, Episode 12) Speaking of vicious vampires, here's one who doesn't have the excuse of being a vampire caveman. As has every Slayer before her, when Buffy turned 18 she had to pass the Cruciamentum, a right of passage where she would be obliviously stripped of her powers and forced to fight a terrible foe. In Buffy's case, the foe was Zachary Kralik, a crazed murderer of a dozen women - and that was before he was a vampire. Abused by his mother as a child, Kralik hates all women and is greatly sadistic. He even admits it, at one point saying: 'I have a problem with mothers. I'm aware of that.' Well, that's something. Kralik is one of the scariest opponents Buffy ever faced because she was so outmatched against him. More insane than your average vampire, he had the supernatural strength and twisted nature to really do Buffy harm. Thankfully, Buffy used his one weakness - his reliance on his medication - to stop him; by tricking him into taking his pills with Holy water, poisoning him.
