Appeared in: Season 4, Episode 17 - Inside Out Jasmine came to Earth through a magical pregnancy between Connor and Cordelia (Angel's main partner and later love interest on the show), and though it would be easy to include Cordy (who was later said to be under mystical control) and her somewhat incestuous liaison with the boy she helped raise on this weirdest creature list, she's just too awesome to ever badmouth. Jasmine, on the other hand... Jasmine portrayed herself as a benevolent god come to bring peace to the earth, and she was true to her word: she brought peace. Of course, she also brought fire and brimstone, mainly through her minion the Beast, on her way to getting to this happy old rock we call earth, but even that could forgiven since she really did bring peace to everyone. Except for those who could see through her mask of humanity, and saw her as the maggot-infested walking corpse she really was. And except for all the people she ate. Which, given she ate them by the dozen or so, were quite a few. Jasmine used the ultimate in utilitarian logic, or at least evil demi-god logic: sacrifice the few for the many. What's a few broken eggs while making the omelet that is world peace? Angel and his team (mostly) would play by the logical answer to this, that two wrongs don't make a right, and stop the creature - but not before she proved to be serenely creepy, almost cult leader style (but with the powers of a God).
