15 Creepiest Creatures From Angel

11. The Senior Partners

Appeared in: Season 2, Episode 11 - "Redefinition" (first mention), Season 2, Episode 15 - "Reprise" (first and only on-screen appearance) If Holland Manners was a creepy corporate figurehead with no morals always offering a Faustian deal with the devil to someone or other, the Senior Partners were an unseen terror that offered up a sense of foreboding and unease because you never knew exactly who or what they were - other than evil. And powerful, very powerful. A member of the senior partners was only ever once seen on screen, in the second season episode Reprise, and though he was powerful, he wasn't particularly fearsome or terrifying - but it was never made clear that he was one of the more senior senior partners, because at its core, the senior partners of Wolfram and Hart were the Wolf, Ram, and Hart - and their influence spanned dimensions, as Wesley learned in the demon dimension Pylea (home of Lorne, the signing night club owner/demon). It's possible however that that appearance was one of the three in another form (and if this is the case, one of them would in fact be dead, as Angel killed it). According to Illyria, herself an ancient "old one" (ancient, powerful demon that walked the earth before man), in her time, the wolf, ram and hart were barely above the vampire, but thousands of years later, they managed to ascend to a level equal to that of the mysterious "Powers that Be" that served as the "divinity" of Angel's world. In other words, they might as well have been the devil himself. Or selves. However, lacking physical strength, they used cunning to become the pullers of strings in the human world (and others) while sitting in another dimension.
