HBOIn a show which torments its audiences to many savage acts of brutality, Ramsay Bolton arguably reigns supreme as the most psychopathic character we have encountered in Westeros; even worse than Joffrey Baratheon. Indeed, Ramsay is very much reminiscent of how we imagine Joffrey to be if he had an ounce of courage. There is a child-like joy Ramsay takes in the unspeakable atrocities he commits which really announces his status as a fully fledged psychopath. The world of HBOs award winning show is a dark, dark place but there are no individuals more sickening than the bastard son of Roose Bolton. Obviously it is Ramsays treatment of Theon Greyjoy where we learn to loathe his demented nature (it speaks volumes about how he has broken Theon down that we were tempted to put Reek there). Ramsay indulges himself in the physical and mental torturing of Theon until the once arrogant Iron Islander is reduced to a quivering, pliable wreck. Like many psychopaths we have encountered on this list, Bolton then has the tactical expertise to know how wreck can be used to his advantage. The inclusion of Ramsay Bolton played to skin-crawling perfection by Iwan Rheon is a masterstroke by the shows creators. It demonstrates the ongoing theme of how it is virtually impossible to have a true hero in the snake pit that is Westeros. Even the noble Starks had morally repugnant psychopaths like Ramsay Bolton supporting their cause.
