15 Doctor Who Actors Who Have Been In Game Of Thrones

4. Harry Lloyd (Baines/Viserys Targaryen)

Like Thomas Brodie-Sangster, Harry Lloyd was also in the Series 3 two-parter Human Nature/The Family of Blood. He's listed in the credits as Baines, but for the most part he's playing a member of the Family of Blood. As Son of Mine, he seems to be in charge of all their moves, leading them in their quest to attain the Doctor's near-immortality. He's utterly creepy and a big part of why the episode works - a truly memorable villain, who ends up with a fairly dreadful fate. He gets the immortality he seeks, but stuck unmoving as a scarecrow watching over England. His other alter ego, Viserys Targaryen, is just as cruel and sadistic. The supposed rightful heir to the throne of Westeros, he abuses his sister Daenerys before trading her to Khal Drogo in exchange for an army to take back his homeland. However, he becomes increasingly impatient in demanding repayment from Drogo and as a result is given a crown of boiling hot gold that burns him to death. Nice. Given both these roles, one thing is clear. If you need an actor who can play creepy and cruel, you won't go far wrong with Harry Lloyd.
