8. Thomas Brodie-Sangster (Tim Latimer/Jojen Reed)

Brodie-Sangster appeared in Series 3 of the revived Doctor Who, playing Tim Latimer in the critically and fan lauded two-parter Human Nature/The Family of Blood. His character occasionally has visions including one of his schoolteachers in his true form - the Doctor! He's very much on the side of good and delivers the fob watch to the Doctor when the Family are bombing the village where he lives. He last sees the Doctor and Martha at a memorial service, where fans see that he grows up to be an ageing but proud war veteran. His role in Game of Thrones has some similar qualities. As Jojen Reed, the frail son of one of Eddard Stark's liege lords, he also gets visions, though his are more taxing. He teaches Bran about Bran's warg-abilities and guides him beyond the wall.
