15 Doctor Who Mistakes That Nobody Will Ever Be OK With

4. Amy's Parents Come Back... And Are Never Mentioned Again

Doctor Who has set a new trend since its 2005 comeback of introducing us to each respective companion's entire family. Rose Tyler had Jackie and Mickey at her constant beck and call, Martha Jones was stuck in the middle of an ensuing family drama and Donna Noble's granddad Wilfred became such a firm fan favourite that he was enlisted as the Time Lord's one off companion for David Tennant's swansong in The End of Time (and, admittedly, indirectly responsible for the Tenth Doctor's eventual death). Amy Pond, meanwhile, as a girl who's never been one to follow the crowd, decided to shake things up in the domestic department by being introduced as an orphan before getting her parents back... and then never mentioning them again. To cut a long story story, her mum and dad (that's Tabetha and Augustus, for those of you have been keeping track!) were absorbed by a crack in the wall (or something) before Amy managed to bring them back using her memory (or something) when the universe was destroyed and subsequently restored (or something). It all escalated very quickly. Nobody quite knows what they've been up to since, but 'Whatever Happened to Amy Pond's Parents?' should really be an investigative spin off series. We'll start the petition.
