15 Doctor Who Mistakes That Nobody Will Ever Be OK With

12. Paul McGann Makes His Long Overdue Return... In An Online Mini-Episode

Honestly. Doctor Who fans wait 17 years (wait... has it really been that long since the ill-faited 1996 TV movie!?) to be reunited with the Eighth Doctor on screen and then he's here and gone again before you can say "Raxacoricofallapatorius". Not that it wasn't, like, the best thing ever - like, ever - to see Paul McGann's underrated incarnation finally being restored to his former glory, but it would've been nice if his grand televisual comeback had actually done him justice. In retrospect, the events of The Night of the Doctor were all rather rushed and it would've made much more sense to include one of the most long awaited regeneration sequences in history in the actual 50th anniversary special itself, rather than in the confines of a seemingly slapdash 8 minute online prequel. It genuinely was great to see him, though, and this complaint stems from our unsatisfiable lust for greed, if nothing else. Doctor Who fans just want more and more, but can you really blame us? Thank God for Big Finish.
