5. Hannibal: Episodes Just Keep Getting Better And Better

It's become a cult gem; former Bond baddie Mads Mikkelsen is wowing audiences around the world with his portrayal of Hannibal, and we just can't get enough of it. No really, the stats back that up: it seems like viewers are liking the show more and more with every episode. Hannibal started off on a respectable 8.2, but since then it's been steadily rising. Episode 6 'Entree' took the personal best up to 8.4, 'Sorbet' topped that an episode later (8.6) and 'Fromage' again the following week (8.8). The first season then racked up a couple of 8.7s before finale Savoureux hit it out the park with a 9, and things keep rising with the second installment; 'Kaiseki' started things where they'd left off (9) and at the time of writing, the last episode is the highest-rated ('Takiawase', 9.6). Are things just set to rise and rise for the NBC thriller? It would appear so. Even the lowest-rated episode, 'Oeuf', is rated 7.7 by IMDB. But that was back in the early days of the show: Season 2 has averaged an incredible 9.175. Let's hope Bryan Fuller can keep it up.
