11. Fresh Meat: The Show Appears To Be Getting Better
Some viewers will tell you that Fresh Meat should've just stopped as soon as they weren't freshers anymore. The second series focussed far too much on Oregon's boring love triangle and the hugely irritating Heather, and the third series felt more like a series of sketches with a loose narrative attached. Talk of a film adaptation is just cashing on The Inbetweeners, surely. The third series was better received than the first, though. The joint best-rated episodes came from the two later series, and nothing in the first series was rated higher than an 8. Series 2 was erratic, granted, and declined in quality, but Series 3 improved as it went on. The finales of each series are improving steadily too, rated 7.5, 7.6 and 7.7 each respectively. If a film does happen, it wouldn't be for the sake of it, it would seem; Fresh Meat is obviously just as popular as it used to be, and it seems to have sorted out that blip in Series 2.
