10. Breaking Bad: 'The Fly' Isn't As Bad As Everyone Says (But Still The Worst Episode)

'The Fly' is easily the most divisive episode of Breaking Bad. Some say that it was a brilliant study of the two lead characters at work; funny, fiery and full of the friction we'd loved watching develop, but if you do a quick search for you, even the Google suggestions will contradict that. 'The Fly' may be the lowest-rated episode of the show by a mile, but it's still given an extremely favourable 8.1. Unsurprisingly, the season to take the sharpest incline in quality is the fourth; the ever-darkening relationship between Walt and Gus Fring reached boiling point several times before Walt killed him in 'Face Off', which is quite rightly given a 9.9 rating by IMDB users. In fact, a staggering 29 episodes are rated 9/10 or above; the last four episodes are all over 9.7, and 'Ozymandias' is the top episode, rated a perfect 10. Maybe 'The Fly' isn't that great, or maybe it only looks that bad in comparison to the rest of the show. That's some incredibly well-received television, after all.
