13. It's You (Season 3, Episode 10)
The strength of this episode lies in its ability to make BoJack seem at peace and happy, only to pull the rug from under the audience at the last second.
For the most part, It's You is a funny and cheery time, with BoJack seemingly nominated for an Oscar for his work in Secretariat and celebrating with a big party, surrounded by his fans. Things take a turn when Mr Peanutbutter reveals BoJack isn't actually nominated for the award.
Abandoned by his party guests, BoJack is then confronted by Todd, who calls him out for jeopardising his relationship with his friend Emily. In one of the show's most shocking moments, Todd calls BoJack out for his behaviour and blames him for all the things wrong with his own life. Delivering the most effective f-bomb in the show, Todd severs his relationship with BoJack and the episode ends.
In just thirty minutes, BoJack went from top of the world to bottom of the barrel, and the dynamic of the show was changed forever.
