15 Mind-Blowing Facts You Didn't Know About Red Dwarf

3. You Can Buy A Mr Flibble Puppet

But good luck finding one. No singularly-appearing character in Red Dwarf has had more impact than Mr. Flibble, a puppet created by Rimmer in series five episode, Quarantine. Move over Kermit the Frog, on yer bike Gordon the Gopher and step aside Edd the Duck... A furry Mr. Flibble is one of the most in-demand puppets on the internet, thanks in part to a limited production run back in 2009. Occasionally you see one at a Comic-Con but most out there have either been well-worn down the pub on a Friday night and stink of beer and sweat or remain completely unopened in their original packaging somewhere in the loft, waiting to make someone a small fortune. Sadly, for all the episode's popularity it has done little to boost the sales of checked gingham dresses and despite a deep Google search no, you can't buy a talking toaster.
