15 Most Annoying Mistakes You Never Noticed In The Walking Dead

12. The Judith Age Problem

Episode: A (S4, E16)

There’s been many a debate over the casting of the various babies that have played young Judith since she was born into the zombie apocalypse in Season 3, from her paternity (Rick Grimes, you are NOT the father) to how she manages to look so healthy considering the scarcity of food (probably because it’s frowned upon to starve a baby actor for realism).

Another debate is how old the little tyke is, and considering how the makers mess with our heads that’s not very surprising. In the Season 4 finale where it looks Rick and Co are about to become Termite food, the episode is punctuated with flashbacks to the prison.

In one flashback, Hershel says that the group have been at the prison for two months. The shot switches to Judith and she looks to be around nine months old and around the same size she was just before the prison fell.

But if the group had only been at the prison for two months, Lil’ Ass Kicker should look a hell of a lot younger than she does in this flashback. If we’re meant to believe she’s that big at just two months of age, it’s really no wonder childbirth finished Lori off.
