15 Most Anticipated Horror TV Shows Of 2025

10. Dexter: Resurrection

Dexter Michael C. Hall
Showtime

While the original Dexter series was regularly praised by fans and critics alike - well, bar the dodgy facial hair of the finale - follow-up Dexter: New Blood and prequel Dexter: Original Sin very much split opinion. Still, here we are in 2025, with yet another new Dexter show on the way.

Dexter: Resurrection will pick things up after New Blood, with Michael C. Hall once again back in the saddle as Dexter Morgan. Hall will be joined by David Zayas, James Remar, and Jack Alcott, who all return in their respective roles from the previous shows.

It's also worth noting that plans are in place for several Dexter spin-off shows, with the Trinity Killer currently pegged to get their own show at some point in the future. So, if you thought Dexter should've called it a day after its original run, you could well have even more Dexter content to be disappointed at in the coming years.
