The new version of Top Gear has been a bit of a disaster (let's refrain from calling it a 'car crash, eh?), with declining viewers, negative reviews, and co-host Chris Evans already leaving the show.

The good news, for big fans of the series, is that a proper replacement should be along pretty soon (although only available on Amazon). Jeremy Clarkson, James May, and Richard Hammond will be bringing their own particular, much-loved brand of dad-banter to a new series called The Grand Tour.

It's expected to have a much bigger budget than Top Gear did, with a lot of location shooting around the world (starting in South Africa) as well as some studio segments, and while it's not clear exactly what they'll be up to, it'll likely involve some motorised ridiculousness and the trio taking the p*ss out of each other.
