15 Sci-fi TV Shows That Ended Too Soon
10. Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles
The Beginning:
The Sarah Connor Chronicles is one of those shows that, at the time, the wider public weren’t too fussed about; it was 2008, Terminator Salvation was on the horizon and folks were too preoccupied with the thought of Christian Bale and Sam Worthington going all post-apocalyptic on each other.
Looking back, though, the show was two seasons-worth of fun. Slotting nicely into the Terminator timeline – it’s essentially a sequel to Judgement Day – the trials of Sarah and John Connor trying to stop the rise of Skynet, aided by a scene-stealing Summer Glau as T-800 esque Cameron, had so much potential.
The End:
By the time Salvation was released, quelling the flames of hope that the franchise was going to be reborn, Fox (those rascals again) had already pulled the plug on the show.
There have been campaigns and crowd funding efforts to jump start the robo saga, but all have been unsuccessful.
