15 Star Trek LEGO Sets Everyone Wants

14. The OG

LEGO Star Trek Voyager

It would almost be offensive to leave the classic Matt Jefferies 1960s-designed NCC-1701 off the list but the question would have to be, how does The Lego Group make this different?

Maybe including decals for all of the Constitution Class ships seen in the series or having the ship open up in sections, as with The Lego Group's RMS Titanic. The shape of the hull would allow for mini-interiors such as Main Engineering and the shuttlebay (with a Galileo or Copernicus, of course), as well as a lift off top to reveal the main bridge.

It needs to include the mentioned-but-never-seen saucer separation. Might The Lego Group be convinced to offer parts to switch in and out so that she can be displayed as Pike's version from The Cage, the modified version for Where No Man Has Gone Before and the main series edition? It also leads to the possibility of a bridge set.

In terms of the figures, these would have to be the classic crew in their mustard, blue and reds. Could this also be a chance to add in a Nurse Chapel and Yeoman Rand to the display plinth?

A Star Trek fan from birth, I love to dive into every aspect of the franchise in front and behind the screen. There's something here that's kept me interested for the best part of four decades! Now I'm getting back into writing and using Star Trek as my first line of literary attack. If I'm not here on WhatCulture then you're more than welcome to come and take a look at my blog, Some Kind of Star Trek at http://SKoST.co.uk or maybe follow me on Twitter as @TheWarpCore. Sometimes I force myself not to talk about Star Trek.
