9. Carl Lumbly: Martian Manhunter

There's a reason why fans are clamouring for a cinematic version of J'onn J'onnz, and it's largely down to Justice League (again).
Carl Lumbly's Martian Manhunter was, in many ways, the unsung hero of the show. By no means a fan favourite character on the page when it initially dropped, J'onnz was certainly one off it. Having taken a massive focus in a bunch of Justice League episodes, the character left a huge impact on the series, and indeed, on its audience too, who have been lobbying for the character to appear in all manners of games, films and shows ever since.
Just watch this clip of J'onn during christmas time and try not to well up. Granted there's little dialogue to be found, but y'know, the character's Oreo-munching is more than indicative of Lumbly's strength in the role.
