10. "Fake Joey" Actor Louis Mandylor Was The Second Choice For Joey
Tough though it is to imagine anyone but Matt LeBlanc playing Joey Tribbiani, another performer was neck-and-neck in the running with LeBlanc and very nearly got the part instead.
That actor was Louis Mandylor, who actually ended up appearing in the season six episode "The One With Unagi," not-so-coincidentally playing the "fake Joey" stand-in Carl.
Despite LeBlanc having a drunken accident where he tripped and smacked his nose on his toilet seat the night before his final callback, LeBlanc's busted face didn't stop him winning the role, and he even told Kauffman the truth about his injury during that final audition.
