6. Earth Sci-Fi: Dark
One of the smartest shows ever written that is as convoluted as it is emotionally powerful. Dark initially follows the disappearance of a child which leads to a time travelling epic that covers decades and focuses around the intertwining connections and relationships of a select few families across generations.
Highly intricate, Dark's three seasons feel incredibly thought out with every story beat making complete sense. Dark is one of those rare shows where nearly every season is flawless and the three seasons fit together perfectly as a beginning, middle and end.
The only possible negative is that certain characters become less important as time goes on than they were originally framed to be (and vice versa) but if that is the only criticism for a show consisting of 26 episodes, that should show you how truly impressive Dark is.
The less said about the specifics the better, just trust that time travel has never been done as well as this before or since and it makes for an unforgettable experience.
