15 Ups & 0 Downs For Star Trek: Prodigy Season 2

7. UP — Ship It Down To The Ship And We'll Ship It Outta Here

We were most definitely spoilt for ships this season. Though we'd already got a peek in the extended clip and the trailer, the Voyager-A was magnificent in all its 'don't lose this one in the Delta Quadrant' glory and Sovereign-esque nacelles. The Infinity was a neat addition, and those Nova Squadron fighters, "redesigned by Lieutenant Paris himself," were epic in a way that would give the Delta Flyer a run for its money. And then, Chakotay also said this: "He [Adreek] knew before this ship could fly, first it had to sail." Just when you thought this season couldn't be any better, they turned the Protostar into a "ship-ship" and steered it across the clouds!

If you have seen the bloopers for Star Trek: Voyager, and there aren't many, you'll no doubt have recognised the title of this entry. It is the briefest of outtakes, but in Robert Beltran's "ship it down to the ship…," and Kate Mulgrew's witty reply, there is camaraderie (and raucous laughter). The same has always shone through for Chakotay and Janeway. In Prodigy's second season, we (finally) got to ship them just a little bit more.
