6. Nonso Anozie - Xaro Xohan Daxos

There are bad book-to-screen translations and then there's this.

In the book, Xaro Xohan Daxos was a really cool character with a far bigger role too, while in the TV series he not only appears for only one season but has absolutely none of the sharp intelligence and mystery of the book character.

As Xaro, Nonso Anozie was just bland and didn't have any real presence on-screen. By several clear miles, he was one of the show's worst-ever villains and although, to be fair, the writing of Daenerys' rather dreary season two story wasn't great, a better performance could've salvaged Xaro.

Maharshala Ali auditioned for Xaro and that would've been so much better. What could've been, eh?
