17 Hidden TV Show Gems On Amazon Prime

10. Animaniacs

Orphan Black Clones Tatiana Maslany
Warner Bros.

It's not just serious, grown-up drama that's available on Amazon, as evidenced by four volumes of Animaniacs being available to stream. The cartoon, which originally aired in the 90s, was executive produced by none other than Steven Spielberg, who rather than just lending his name to it was said to be heavily involved in the writing and and production of the show.

It features some of the rather more out-there Warner Bros. characters, centred on the Warner siblings Wakko, Yakko, and Dot, three characters locked away in the water tower until they were let loose in the 90s, and also introduced us to Pinky and the Brain (apparently one is a genius and the other's insane, and their own series is also available).

It featured a broad-mix that you'd expect from an old-fashioned skit show, with plenty of slapstick comedy, and a good measure of cartoon violence thrown in as well.
