17 Hottest New TV Shows Debuting This Summer

17. Dark Matter

Airing on SyFy from 12 June, Dark Matter sees the six-person crew of a spaceship wake up with absolutely no recollection of who they are or how they came to be in space. They discover that there€™s a pre-set destination for the ship, so they have to figure out what exactly they€™re supposed to be doing there, and fight for survival at the same time. It€™s written by Stargate€™s Joseph Malozzi and Paul Mullie, and based on their comic-book series of the same name (although it was initially intended for TV anyway), so it€™s got two experienced pairs of hands behind it, and looks like an interesting blend of sci-fi and memory-loss drama, with a sprinkling of action for good measure.
