The stars Patrick Stewart as British newscaster Walter Blunt, who heads to America to host his own talk show. With him is an alcoholic assistant, plus a lot of baggage from a number of failed marriages. Its produced by Seth MacFarlane and created by Jonathan Ames, and should serve as a sharp, witty satire on such sanctimonious talking-head type shows (looking at you, Bill OReilly), while also providing moments of slapstick comedy as well. The trailer features Stewart snorting cocaine and being whipped with a towel, which should be enough to convince people its worth checking out.
NCTJ-qualified journalist. Most definitely not a racing driver. Drink too much tea; eat too much peanut butter; watch too much TV. Sadly only the latter paying off so far.
A mix of wise-old man in a young man's body with a child-like wonder about him and a great otherworldly sensibility.
