17 Hottest New TV Shows Debuting This Summer

11. Zoo

€œAnimals once ruled the Earth. What if they decide to take it back?€ That€™s the tagline and the preimse of Zoo, based on James Patterson€™s novel, which sees a huge number of violent attacks by animals on humans across the world. James Wolk stars as the young scientist who takes it upon himself to figure out what exactly is going on, and how it can be stopped before it€™s too late. It€™s a welcome return to screens for Wolk, best-known for his role as the mysterious Bob Benson in Mad Men. He€™ll be helped by the likes of Kristen Connolly (House of Cards), Billy Burke (The Twilight Saga) and Nonso Anozie (making his second appearance on this list). It€™s an interesting idea and certainly looks as though it€™ll contain plenty of thrilling moments, as well as enough animals to fill an arc.

NCTJ-qualified journalist. Most definitely not a racing driver. Drink too much tea; eat too much peanut butter; watch too much TV. Sadly only the latter paying off so far. A mix of wise-old man in a young man's body with a child-like wonder about him and a great otherworldly sensibility.
