17 Visually Stunning TV Opening Credits
15. Skins
The teenage years were a turbulent time for many of us and still are for many others. If there’s one show that perfectly captured teen culture in the noughties, it has to be Skins.
The programme focused on British teenagers and had the guts to replace cast members every two years as they left their teenage days behind.
The title sequences are only thirty seconds long, greeting the audience with a kaleidoscope of UK youth culture.
This glorious pastiche is a crazy mix of romances and cigarette smoke as each shot seamlessly cuts and entwines with one another. British opening credits have attempted to visualise the UK teenage experience, but never quite like Skins.
