15. I Only Want To Be With You - The Handmaid's Tale
The Handmaid's Tale's second season was, somehow, even bleaker than the first. Going beyond the world of Margaret Atwood's novel, it often felt unrelenting in its showcase of Gilead's horrors. That's why the happier moments, those that let the thinnest rays of hope shine through, make an even bigger impact.
In a world where we continuously see the effects and toil taken on the handmaids, the most uplifting came when Janine was allowed to be briefly reunited with her baby.
As Janine softly sings I Only Want To Be With You, her voice full of emotion, and the baby makes happy noises in response, it feels like everything else is stripped away. Gilead, the Commanders, the draconian rules all fall by the wayside, and what we're left with is a moment of pure tenderness between a mother and her daughter.

A mix of wise-old man in a young man's body with a child-like wonder about him and a great otherworldly sensibility.
