20 Best Deaths In Doctor Who History

7. Death By Ice Warrior (The Seeds Of Death)

A Martian plot to conquer the Earth using a teleport system and some lethal fungus nearly spelled curtains for the human race, before a crazy last minute solution sent the Big Green Ones packing. Amongst the various participants caught up in Brian Hayles' scenario was Fewsham (Terry Scully). This complex character started off a coward, following every order from the invaders to deliver deadly seeds to the globe via the Moon-bound T-Mat base. But as the full extent of what he'd assisted dawned on him, he bravely turned the tables on his hissing taskmasters, broadcasting their deeds to the planet below. His effort succeeded, though at a fatal cost when the Ice Warriors uncovered his duplicity. The Doctor and company looked on appalled as Fewsham was executed, before the guns were aimed at the snooping cameras, fading the picture to black. The contrary figure died a sad but noble death.
