20 Best Superhero TV Show Performances Ever

7. Grant Gustin As Barry Allen/The Flash

Daredevil Kingpin Vincent DOnofrio

Next to Stephen Amell's broody Oliver Queen, Grant Gustin's Barry Allen is the other pillar of the Arrowverse, and the complete polar opposite of his green hooded colleague.

His charisma, boyish charm and good looks with nothing else would make for a wonderful depiction of Barry Allen, but the character goes so much deeper than handsome comic relief. The series couldn't have stood for so long if this was the case.

When the Flash first aired Gustin was just 24 years old, and we have seen him mature on screen along with his character, tackling deeper and tougher challenges, adding to the core of his performance that made him so loved in the first place.

Not only has Gustin portrayed the Flash for six years, like Melissa Benoist, he has dabbled in villainy. Season three saw a time travelling, evil Barry by the name of of Savitar, looking to protect his own existence. This, along with a hilarious experience as Oliver Queen in the Elseworlds crossover, are the icing on the cake of an incredible career for Gustin in the superhero world.
