5. Hayley Attwell As Peggy Carter

Though the future of the MCU will see the movies and the shows on Disney+ intertwine, any crossover between them in the past has been minimal. One character that was able to bridge the gap however, was Peggy Carter. After her appearance as one of the highlights of Captain America: The First Avenger, she was given her own TV series.

In the movies, Hayley Attwell brings to life an incredible, strong, simply bad-ass character, and her own show saw no change in that whatsoever. After all, Peggy was the woman that inspired Steve Rogers himself.

In Agent Carter, Hayley Attwell's performance does evolve somewhat, as she is dealing with the apparent death of Steve Rogers, on top of everything else she has to come up against.

Because of her looks and the fact that she is a woman, Peggy Carter is always underestimated by those around her, which is something she has had to deal with all her life. This gives Attwell the license to lend Peggy a little arrogance and self-satisfaction, which she manages with class, grace, and a mean right hook.
