16. Larry David - Curb Your Enthusiasm

Leslie Knope Parks And Rec
HBO

Even though the actor plays himself in the show, Larry David isn't quite the same on screen and off. His semi-fictionalised self in Curb Your Enthusiasm represents a version of himself that David wishes he could be. With a complete lack of caution when it comes to social situations, he often finds himself in awkward (and hilarious) situations.

The former Seinfeld writer has managed to create a twenty year career doing this one show. On rare occasions, he can be found performing a quick cameo appearance here and there. It real speaks to the quality of David as a writer and actor, as few others have done the same.

Starting at the turn of the millennium, Curb Your Enthusiasm has never really gained a huge following. Despite its award winning brilliance, it's always managed to stay under the radar. Yet for those who who do find it, the show is an unforgettable experience.

David's incredibly dry personality often causes conflict within his life. He sticks to a strong personal moral code and damn anyone who doesn't follow that. Larry means well, but sometimes his attempts to help people end up making everything so much worse. We can all relate to that, right?
