What is there not to love about The Tick? It starred Patrick Warburton and featured the tagline, "The big blue bug of justice is here!". In 2001, Fox gave us a live action version of the popular comics, created by the same producer who had worked on the animated series of the early 90s. Although the show was genuinely hilarious, Fox didn't do a great job of promoting it (we are Jack's complete lack of surprise), and high production costs led it to be cancelled after only a single series of nine episodes. But there may be a happy ending for The Tick after all -- recently there have been whispers that Amazon plans to revive the series, with Warburton again taking on the lead role.
