7. The Doctor Meets The Last Dalek (Dalek)

When Davros was introduced in 1975, he became the de-facto spokesperson for the Daleks, which kind of reduced them.
So it was incredibly powerful when, in 2005's Dalek, the Ninth Doctor and one of his arch-enemies went eye to eyestalk for the first time in what felt like ages.
It was also a confrontation that we'd never seen before, brimming over with violence and anger due to the recent scars left by the Time War. It completely changed how we looked at the relationship between the Doctor and the Daleks, and has continued to define them since.
