Given he has an eidetic memory, there isnt much that Sheldon Cooper doesnt know about his favourite TV shows. There is also no denying that Sheldon Cooper is a huge Trekkie, as we have seen him be guided by the wisdom of Spock when he faces difficult situations or decisions. Such is his love of the cult show, we have witnessed him try to resolve a falling out with his girlfriend Amy Farrah Fowler by buying her the entire box set of the iconic show and even envision a Spock figure come to life when he breaks his new Star Trek transporter toy. Having said all that, the actor who plays Sheldon isnt actually a fan of any of the series his character loves. Jim Parsons admitted in an interview with Time that he doesnt share his characters love for the shows Im very frank about certain things, I get asked a lot of science things and Im like, youre kidding. And even the pop culture Ive never seen Star Trek. I dont know Doctor Who. It certainly doesnt seem that way on the show.
