3. Rick Has The Most Blood On His Hands

The Walking Dead is a phenomenally gory television show. That seems par for the course for a zombie show, but it's only in recent years €“ with the likes of Game Of Thrones and Hannibal €“ that cable TV has been as comfortable with showing shocking violence as it does sex and swears. HBO even passed on the show because of the gore. As it stands, there has been something like 349 on-screen walker deaths (probably not counting any caught in the CDC blast from the first season finale). Pretty impressive. All the more impressive is that most of those deaths came at the hands of Rick Grimes. He started as a traumatised sheriff struggling to lead a rag-tag bunch of survivors.
