20 Mind-Blowing Facts You Didn't Know About The Walking Dead

1. The Walkers Barely Do Anything

A common complaint as the show's been going on is that the eponymous Walking Dead (like the zombies, not the people, get out of her with your clever readings of the series title) don't really do enough to earn that headline position. In fact, as time goes on, it appears that the walkers are nothing more than a nuisance to the survivors. And you know what? There's some cold, hard evidence to back up that view. Out of the seventeen human deaths of season three, fourteen were perpetrated by humans, whilst only three were the fault of the shambling hordes of the undead. The numbers don't lie: the greatest threat in the world of The Walking Dead isn't the walkers themselves, it's the fellow desperate, bloodthirsty survivors. Perhaps the true monsters aren't the zombies but...mankind itself? Woah, now that is mind-blowing.
