20 Mind-Blowing Facts You Never Knew About Breaking Bad
7. S'all Good, Man
It's so painful obvious that plenty of people have no doubt figured it out already, but for the benefit of those who haven't, now's time to explore the origins of Saul Goodman's pseudonym. It's stated very early on that Saul Goodman isn't Saul's real name (Better Call Saul revealed it's actually Jimmy McGill), with him choosing a Jewish sounding name to appear like a better lawyer. We'd expect nothing less from him.
But it's also a portmanteau name, sounding almost identical to the phrase "s'all good, man", in Saul's mind boosting his dependability, but to the audience just adding to the sleaze. This was confirmed in Better Call Saul's Season 1 finale, but still remains a cool bit of trivia.
