20 Mind-Blowing Facts You Never Knew About Lost

16. No Character Is In Every Episode (But Hurley And Jack Are In The Most)

ABC

It really depends on how you count the extended or multiple part episodes, but officially there are 121 episodes of Lost. Yet despite many of its original key cast making it through to the final episode alive, nobody starred in every one.

Episodes like Ab Aeterno set entirely in the past account for this to some degree, but as Jack appears in archive footage at the end of Across The Sea and even pops up in the Sawyer focused LaFleur you'€™d expect him to come close. In fact he€™s €˜only€™ in 117, tying with Hurley for most, which means the ever-present future protectors of the Island actually took four hours off.

What'€™s most surprising about episode counts is that Sayid, Sun and Jin were in the same as Sawyer and Kate (one less than best at 116), despite dying a few episodes before the end.
