20 Most Anticipated TV Shows Of 2024

18. Masters Of The Air

Masters of the Air
Apple TV+

Almost three years after it began filming, Masters of the Air is finally hitting Apple TV+ in mere weeks.

The war drama mini-series, co-produced by Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg, is a clear spiritual successor to both Band of Brothers and The Pacific, and follows the 100th Bomb Group of the U.S. Air Force during World War II.

The unit was nicknamed the "Bloody Hundredth" due to the huge losses they incurred during their service, so it's best to expect a characteristically unflinching account from Spielberg's camp.

He and Hanks have been developing this thing since October 2012 and have amassed a stacked cast, led by Austin Butler and also including Barry Keoghan, Ncuti Gatwa, Callum Turner, and many, many more.

If the show is even remotely as good as it looks, then Apple has yet another mega-budget gemstone to add to their weighty crown.

Masters of the Air premieres on January 26.
