The People v O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story was one of the very best TV shows of 2016, using a stellar cast to turn an already massively dramatic true story into a hugely entertaining and gripping dramatised retelling.

For his next trick(s), the anthology-producing machine that is Ryan Murphy is tackling two more major events from the last couple of decades, and shooting them back-to-back.

Katrina will focus on the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, and follow different people in an attempt to examine all sides of it. Annette Bening will play Kathleen Blanco, Governor of Louisiana during and after Katrina, while it's also expected (and hoped) Sarah Paulson will return.

Versace, meanwhile, will focus on the assassination of fashion designer Gianni Versace outside of his home in 1997. Edgar Ramirez will play Versace, while Darren Criss will play his murderer, serial killer Andrew Cunanan.

A fourth season was recently revealed to be in the works as well, with THR reporting that after those two - which are both scheduled to air in 2018 - we'll get a season on the Bill Clinton/Monica Lewinsky scandal.
