20 Most Hotly Anticipated New TV Shows Of 2022

Cult fave Marvel hero Moon Knight gets his own six-episode Disney+ series next year, with the dream-cast of Oscar Isaac playing the titular superhero, a Marine suffering from dissociative identity disorder who is drawn into a battle with ancient gods.

The series has been developed by The Umbrella Academy's Jeremy Slater and Ethan Hawke will play a major supporting role, but perhaps more exciting than anything is the fact that two of the series' episodes will be directed by revered indie horror filmmakers Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead (Spring, The Endless).

With Kevin Feige already confirming that Moon Knight will appear in MCU movies following the conclusion of his series - and with an actor like Oscar Isaac in the lead you'd be silly not to - there's a lot to be excited about here.

Moon Knight will premiere on Disney+ sometime next year.
